Fire extinguishers in the home can be a great help to you or a hindrance. The Local 2141 recommends that you DO NOT fight the fire yourself. Exit the house and call the 911 from a neighbors house. A small fire can spread to your entire room or house in 5-10 minutes. If you choose to use an extinguisher get the proper training. Click here for more info.
