The AFD Local 2141 represent the uniformed employees of  the City of Alexandria Fire Department. The City of Alexandria is located in the state of Virginia, ten miles south of Washington, DC.  The Fire Department is made up of eight fire stations, eight engines, three trucks, five medic units, a technical rescue, haz mat and marine operations teams.
